What CertNivo stores in your browser
CertNivo uses browser storage for features such as practice history, Daily 10 streaks, study-plan completion, lab completion, tool preferences and session settings. You can clear this browser-stored data through your browser controls.
Account and progress data
If you create an account, CertNivo uses Supabase authentication and may store account identifiers, profile information you provide, certification progress, practice and mock-exam results, domain breakdowns and related timestamps so progress can sync across devices.
Payments and subscriptions
Paid subscription checkout is handled by Stripe. CertNivo does not intentionally collect or store your full payment-card number in browser code. Stripe may process payment, billing and transaction information under its own privacy terms. CertNivo may store subscription status and plan information needed to provide paid features.
AI Tutor
When you use the AI Tutor, your prompt and selected CertNivo study context may be sent to the configured AI service through CertNivo's server-side function so a response can be generated. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, private keys, confidential employer information or other sensitive data that is not necessary for your study request.
Browser-based file tools
Supported PDF and image utilities are designed to process selected files locally in your browser rather than intentionally uploading them to CertNivo servers. Some tools load third-party browser libraries from content delivery networks. You should still avoid processing sensitive documents on untrusted devices or networks.
Hosting, security and technical data
Hosting, authentication, email, payments, content delivery and other infrastructure providers may receive standard technical data needed to operate their services, such as IP address, browser information, request metadata and security logs. CertNivo may also use aggregate or diagnostic information to maintain reliability, prevent abuse and improve the platform.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate CertNivo, authenticate users, save and synchronize progress, personalize study recommendations, provide AI tutoring, process subscriptions, send account-related messages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and improve the service.
Your choices
You may use many CertNivo features without an account. You can sign out, clear browser-stored data and choose not to use paid or AI features. Account-related privacy requests can be handled through the contact method published on CertNivo when available.
Third-party services
CertNivo may rely on providers including Supabase, Stripe, Netlify, email infrastructure, public data APIs and browser-library CDNs. Their own privacy policies and terms may apply when those services process information.
Changes
This policy may be updated as CertNivo changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
